Computer Training for Kids (Age 5 to 17)The TechnoKids Computer curriculum uses a project-based approach to integrate computing skills into K-12 education. It is divided into six categories:

Primary

Junior

Intermediate

Senior

Camp and Teacher
Each category contains a set of projects designed to integrate a range of Information and Communication Technology skills into student learning including:

Word Processing

Programming

Graphics

Spreadsheets

Desktop Publishing

Applied Technology

Telecommunications

Databases

Operating Systems

Multimedia
Each project contains meaningful category-related assignments that require the use of Microsoft applications. For example, students produce a book advertisement using PowerPoint, write a report on endangered species using Word, analyze and graph survey results in Excel, and organize data on space missions using Access. Each project enhances skills in language arts, mathematics, geography, science, social studies, or visual arts.
The TECHNO Kids cirriculum includes more than 60 projects that integrate technology into learning. We can offer the curriculum as a complete program, or select just one to teach as part of an existing curriculum unit. Either way, the kids will prepare for the digital age as they learn essential technology skills.
